CALL CHANGED SCHEDULE CHANGE!! The Costumers request that all BLIND SCHOOL CHILDREN attend the Sunday March 28^th 2010 rehearsal at 1:00pm. They would like to measure you for your costumes for our April 11^th Performance at the Mall.  Parents/ Guardians this will not take the whole rehearsal, I suggest you stay with your child until the costumers are done with them.  So Blind school children you will not be acting but meet us in the Little Theater for the costume call.

We are taking a detour onto Act 1 this Sunday. Act 1 scene 2- Helen’s Life Before Teacher Called:  KATE, KELLER, HELEN, MARTHA, PERCY, AUNT EV, DOG , scene 5 Awaiting Arrival Called: VINEY, KATE, KELLER, JAMES scene 9 Who is this Yankee Women? Called:  KATE,  KELLER, JAMES

I am very glad that we all had an enjoyable rehearsal. Thank you for the understanding about running a little over since we started late due to set information and our theater guest.

Thursday March 25th 2010 we will be blocking Act2 Scene 17 Does it Hurt to be Dead?- Called: JIMMIE & SHADOW PEOPLE (please check your scene break down to see which shadow people are used in that scene) . We will be blocking this first. We did not have time on Tuesday to work on Act2 Scene 18- So we will block that also- Garden House, 1 Week Agreed-Called: KATE, KELLER,ANNIE

Thank you all for the quality rehearsal on Sunday! Since we have ran Act 3 I expect that actors would be off book by the next time we run the act. FYI that would be tentatively on April 17 2010.

So here we go! On Sunday 3/21/10 we are running Act 3! 1pm on the Main Stage ALL CHARCTERS IN ACT 3 ARE CALLED ANNIE and HELEN will warm up with their General ANNIE vs HELEN KELLER scene. We will block scene change 2 with JAMES and the servants VINEY, MARTHA, PERCY. VINEY and MARTHA please talk to PERCY or the stage manager about the blocking that you have missed. And then…We’ll run the act with the dog BELLE called at 1:30pm.

We may start to run until 4pm on Sundays, because it is easier to run over on Sunday then on weeknights.

Great Work tonight! Thank you to those who made a extra effort to come to rehearsal even with schedule conflicts!


We did a lot of blocking, and worked on some important scenes. Please review your blocking for Act 3, because Sunday we will be running the act.


NOTE Schedule Change- Thursday March 18th scene 24 I need more time ANNIE, HELEN, KELLER, KATE, and DOG “Belle” and scene 28b The Miracle ANNIE, HELEN, KATE, KELLER, AUNT EV, JAMES- I would love it if Viney, Martha, or Percy could also attend, I know it is short notice, but if you are there I will block you otherwise we can work on it on Sat. We will cover scene 28c The Miracle with the shadow figures later on when we run acts- and create Curtin call bows.

Some might have conflicts for this schedule change that I may already know about, but please make every effort to attend this rehearsal.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

We are progressing through rehearsals very smoothly! I am done working with Annie and Helen solely now, and am going to start to call the ensemble cast members to rehearsals.

We have a Dog...

Another great rehearsal! Thank you for everyone who attended. We have a “Belle” dog, Connor Kingdom’s Golden Retriever seems to fit. If the dog can handle being on stage and get use to our actors I hope he can work out- we do have two back up dogs if need be.
 The schedule change will not happen, we will go on as in your schedule. For Thursday’s rehearsal ANNIE, HELEN, & PERCY are called. ANNIE & HELEN please think over what scenes or parts of scenes you would like to re-cover after we are done with these two scenes. Thank you for all your hard work!

Sunday Rehearsal

Thank you again for an awesome Rehearsal! The following people are called for Tuesday’s March 9th Rehearsal at 7pm: KATE, ANNIE, and HELEN. Also there will be one large breed dog that is coming to this rehearsal for an audition. Thursday’s audition might be revised due to a change in Pump Boys… brush up. Please refer to the blog for any questions.

Successful Read-through!

Yesterday’s read through was very successful! I am very excited about our cast and the dynamic relationships that have already been shown. Thank you for all who could attend and thank you to Pump Boys members coming over after tech; I and your fellow cast members appreciate your effort! If you have any questions regarding scheduling, like conflicts, please inform me earlier rather than later. If you have questions on character, feel free to email me or come earlier to your next called rehearsal. Please feel free to use the Education Extension Packet given to you at the read through, and I believe Ted has some extras, as character research. Work on your accent as much as possible, but if you are having difficulty please just ask me  If you have less than ten lines please have them memorized and be off book by your first rehearsal call, this makes blocking easier for all involved. All characters with a majority of line please be off book by the week before tech week as in April 13th 2010.
Our next rehearsal, Thursday 3/4/10 will be Scene Numbers 8b & 10 with JAMES KELLER, ANNIE & HELEN

Tuesday March 2 - Read-Through

Tonight (Tue. March 2) at 7pm is the Read-Through and Cast Meeting for The Miracle Worker in the Little Theatre.   

Cast info packets will be handed out - including schedules, ticket order forms, t-shirt info, and more.   

Scripts will also be passed out for everyone.
